The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Bank Hospital Support Assistants for Goole and District Hospital. H.S.A’s are an integral part of the Hospitals operations, working on Wards and Departments providing all of our cleaning and catering responsibilities. A typical day for a H.S.A would include wet mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins, replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures, furniture and toilet / bathroom areas. If assigned to the catering element you will deliver beverages and meals to our patients and carry out kitchen duties, in ward catering facilities.
Whilst a comprehensive training package will give you the skills and knowledge to work effectively as a H.S.A, we want to learn from your application how you can meet the minimum of the essential criteria in our person specification, and perhaps even exceed this minimum standard. We support the continuous development of our staff so regular refreshers of training take place.
The right candidate would be working on a Bank Contract covering various shifts within our Wards and Departments. Shift times will be from 07.00am - 14.30 pm 5 days a week pro rata.
