Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking motivated doctors to join the Paediatric Emergency Department at St Mary’s Hospital, a Major Trauma Centre in London. The role is ideal for trainees looking to enhance their skills in managing acutely ill or injured children, with a focus on those interested in paediatrics or emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and treatments for children in the Emergency Department.
  • Gain experience in the resuscitation of critically ill and injured children.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completed foundation training.
  • Interest in paediatrics or emergency medicine; experience in these fields is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of paid experience in the NHS (observer positions not eligible).
