NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Health Visitor for their Children & Families Services in Glasgow, responsible for the care of children from antenatal stages to school entry age. The primary duties involve acting as the designated Health Visitor for all children on the caseload, monitoring their wellbeing, and collaborating with families and relevant agencies to create and monitor individualized child plans. Applicants must be registered nurses or midwives with a degree and hold a post-registration qualification in Health Visiting or Public Health Nursing.

The position offers a Monday to Friday shift pattern from 08:30 to 16:30 and promotes a culture of inclusion, welcoming applications from diverse backgrounds, including the Armed Forces community. Starting April 2024, NHS Scotland will reduce the full-time working week to 37 hours, while maintaining pay, and applicants should be aware they may temporarily work additional hours until implementation.
