NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Health Care Assistant for the Acute Medical Receiving Unit at University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, providing essential personal care and assistance with routine examinations for patients under the supervision of registered nurses or clinicians. The role emphasises a person-centered approach to care, maintaining hygiene and safety standards within the ward environment. Candidates should have experience or knowledge in personal care, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy setting. A commitment to ongoing training and development, including working towards a Health Care SVQII, is desirable.
