The Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Norris Green Mental Health Hub, which serves a population of over 200,000 as the largest Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in the area. This role focuses on supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges through evidence-based care, risk management, medication monitoring, and keyworking. The ideal candidate will hold a Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and have relevant experience in the field. The role will include providing high quality evidenced based care, formulating risk management plans, supervising risk assessments, monitoring medication, administration of depots, providing expertise and advice, keyworking clients and supervising junior staff. In addition, we require a strong commitment to working with service users with complex needs in order to assist them plan and take steps towards their recovery as well as signposting to additional services such as psychology, the Life Rooms and wider community resources.
