                                                    An excellent opportunity has arisen for two permanent Band 3 senior health care assistants for Rheumatology clinic. There is a full time and part time post available. You will be part of a friendly and proactive team and will support the registered nurses as well as running a phlebotomy clinics and a Dexa scanning service as well as assisting the Doctor and specialist nurse clinics. Phlebotomy skills are preferable, however full training will be provided, evidence of significant experience as a healthcare assistant is essential. The role is Monday - Friday, excluding bank holidays and weekends. Main Duties Of The Role Include Perform phlebotomy in a dedicated clinic/outpatient setting.   Recording of observations  Record weight and height measurements Maintain adequate heath records Maintain communication with patients  Assist Doctors and specialist nurses in outpatient clinic The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
