The role of Private Patients & Overseas Administration Assistant at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust involves facilitating the admissions process and invoicing for private patient services, including elective and emergency admissions as well as outpatient activities. The assistant will provide administrative support to the Private Patient management team, ensuring proper charging for treatments of Overseas Visitors, within a confidential and sensitive environment.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, customer-focused attitudes, and previous office administration experience, preferably within an NHS setting. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, teamwork, and enthusiasm, with engagement across various stakeholders to deliver high-quality care. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility required.
