Belong Macclesfield is seeking a Night Care Assistant to join their dedicated team, providing compassionate and person-centred care to residents in a community-styled home. The role involves working night shifts from 10 pm to 8 am, where the assistant will support residents with personal care, activities, and companionship, while maintaining their dignity and privacy. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, previous experience in elderly care, and a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or the Care Certificate.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people
- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household
- Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing
- Respect the residents' dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
- A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care for our night team roles
