The role of Health Care Assistant - Care of the Elderly at NHS Scotland in Airdrie involves supporting nurses and clinicians by providing routine personal care and assisting with patient examinations within a multidisciplinary team. The Role
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment.
Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.
