The School Library Resource Centre Co-ordinator at St Machar Academy, Aberdeen, is responsible for leading and managing a secondary school library that supports teaching and learning, while ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines. The role requires a minimum of a degree or postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Studies, as well as a willingness to obtain PVG membership for work involving children or vulnerable adults. Key responsibilities include designing user education programs, promoting information literacy, managing projects, and collaborating with staff to create a positive learning environment.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in ICT, an ability to recognize individual learning needs, and experience in promoting the library as a center for knowledge exchange.
