The University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) across the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals. This permanent role, which may begin at Band 2 for those without a Care Certificate, offers fully supported training, including a bespoke induction and mentorship, aimed at helping staff reach their full potential in providing high-quality patient care. The position is available for both full-time and part-time hours, requiring flexibility to work across various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Successful candidates will play a vital role in the healthcare team, assisting on inpatient wards in diverse medical, surgical, trauma, and older persons' services. The Trust is committed to career progression and provides a pathway towards nurse training for HCSWs who wish to advance their careers. Applicants must demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills, and previous care experience is desirable but not mandatory.
