The role of the Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician with NHS Lothian in Livingston focuses on enhancing pharmaceutical care within the Primary Care Pharmacy and Medicines Service. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support high-quality, safe, and evidence-based prescribing practices. This position involves collaborating with GPs, community pharmacists, and other healthcare staff, and requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work autonomously, and proficiency in communication and IT. A National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualification is necessary, along with current registration as a pharmacy technician.
