The Assistant HR Advisor for Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust plays a crucial role in the HR Operations team by providing professional HR services, particularly focusing on attendance management, employee relations, and absence processes. Key responsibilities include monitoring sickness absence triggers, conducting training for managers, offering HR advice based on metrics and data analysis, and supporting managers with less complex employee relations cases. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate employee records and facilitate communication across various stakeholders.

This role can be based at either Whiston Hospital or Ormskirk Hospital, with the necessity of travel between sites as needed. Candidates should have prior HR experience and a comprehensive understanding of HR systems.
