The role of Band 3 Health Care Assistant at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust involves supporting a busy Outpatients department across the Southport and Ormskirk sites. The successful candidate will assist trained nursing staff and doctors in patient care, preparation of consulting rooms, and ensuring a high standard of service while maintaining patient dignity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, are essential for this position.

Candidates should possess NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and demonstrate experience in a healthcare setting. The Trust emphasises providing five-star patient care and values a flexible and reliable approach to work. The position is part-time, permanent, and offers a salary between £24,071 to £25,674 annually, pro rata.
