The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Locally Employed Doctor (ST1/2 equivalent) in Oncology for a fixed-term position of 12 months at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to oncology patients in the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and mid Wales areas. Key responsibilities include day-to-day patient care, routine clerking and investigations, minor procedures, and assessing patients undergoing cytotoxic therapy. The position also offers the opportunity to enhance clinical skills, particularly in managing acutely ill patients, while working collaboratively in a professional team.

The successful candidate will benefit from a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no out-of-hours commitments at present.
