Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Family Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in a new service aimed at supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs in Warrington. The service includes outreach support for families and features short to medium term residential beds. The Family Therapist will provide evidence-based, client-centered care, conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other professionals. This role also involves therapeutic interventions, both in the care home and community settings, and requires an experienced candidate committed to supporting vulnerable children and families.

The position offers management and clinical supervision from the CYP Crisis Response Team and is part of a broader strategy aligning with national initiatives. Responsibilities include carrying a caseload, providing mental health consultations, and ensuring effective communication with relevant agencies.
