Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals for the role of Decontamination Technicians at their Sterile Service and Decontamination Units located within the Royal Gwent and Grange University Hospitals in Llanfrechfa. The technicians will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation, production, sterilisation, and delivery of medical procedure packs and instrument sets necessary for both elective and emergency medical procedures. Various work hours are available, including full-time and part-time shifts, with an emphasis on teamwork and the eagerness to learn and develop skills.

Applicants should have a good level of general education, basic computer skills, and ideally possess an NVQ Level 3 in decontamination or equivalent experience. Experience in a decontamination service, alongside the ability to communicate effectively and handle unplanned events, is essential. While proficiency in Welsh is desirable, candidates who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply.
