NHS Scotland is seeking a Registered Dental Nurse with the Childsmile Extended Duties National qualification for the position of Extended Duties Dental Nurse in Windygates. The role involves working as part of a dental team to deliver clinical preventive procedures and oral health education, including the application of fluoride varnish. Additionally, the post holder will provide surgical and administrative support to clinicians in the Public Dental Service and will be required to travel throughout Fife. Proficiency in English and effective communication skills are essential for carrying out the role safely.

Candidates must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment. Furthermore, NHS Scotland is transitioning to a reduced full-time working week of 37 hours starting April 1, 2024, which will also apply pro rata to part-time staff.
