NHS Scotland is seeking a qualified and motivated registered nurse to join the District Nursing Service as a Community Staff Nurse in the Kirkcaldy locality. While prior community nursing experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and a diverse clinical skill set, capable of working both collaboratively in a team and independently to provide quality patient care. The role involves delivering care round-the-clock, including weekends and public holidays, and may occasionally require evening work or travel to different localities.

The position also entails joining the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to employment. NHS Scotland is adjusting its full-time work week from 37.5 to 37 hours from April 2024, with corresponding pay and adjustments for part-time staff.
