The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse for its Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, which caters to patients post-complex heart surgeries in a 15-bed facility. The role involves assisting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in managing ward operations around the clock, providing clinical leadership, ensuring high-quality patient care, and developing the nursing team. The successful candidate will also contribute to administrative management and resource utilisation while actively participating in patient care assessments and the implementation of care programs.

Candidates are expected to possess relevant nursing qualifications and significant post-registration experience, with preference given to those with specialized clinical background in this area. Key responsibilities include fostering effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team and serving as a role model in promoting evidence-based practices. The position offers flexibility in working patterns and a salary range of £37,338 to £44,962 per year.
