The role of Sister/Charge Nurse at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester involves overseeing the SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment) Day Services, which provide treatment for a variety of cancers to up to 160 patients daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of treatment, as well as managing the SACT unit's daily operations. This position requires an enthusiastic, SACT-trained nurse to not only lead and motivate junior staff but also to ensure compliance with training, safety, and quality standards while serving as an effective role model for excellence in practice.
