Location:Milton Keynes (MK17)
Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Shifts Available: Day shifts - 20 hours per week
Week 1 - Wednesday and Friday 08:15 - 18:15
Week 2 -Wednesday and Saturday 08:15 - 18:15
Access to vehicle required due to geographical location of role

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is a gentlemen who unfortunately suffers with locked-in syndrome and has type-2 diabetes. Your role would be to offer companionship and to complete day-to-day household tasks,attending to his personal and domestic care.
He's a huge fan of football and watching sports in general, he also enjoys spending time with his family who come to visit him.

Qualifications
What you’ll need
Experience in catheter care, bowel management and medication administration is essential for this role.
