The Bank Pharmacy Technician role at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust involves providing pharmaceutical services within the outpatient pharmacy department, focusing on delivering efficient and high-quality customer experiences. The technician will be part of a dedicated team that embodies the values of respectful and compassionate care, working primarily at the Royal Free Hospital, a busy tertiary care center. Candidates are sought for both Band 4 and 5 positions, with responsibilities including clinical tasks, patient care, policy development, financial and physical resource management, and leading initiatives in research and development.
This position is dynamic and may require the employee to work at various locations as needed. The pharmacy services are continually adapting to meet the needs of patients and healthcare partners, with potential coverage extending to seven days a week. The pharmacy technician provides pharmaceutical services in the outpatient pharmacy department ensuring efficient and high quality customer experience is maintained.
The post holder will be working for Royal Free London Pharmacy, a wholly owned subsidiary of the RFL Group.
The post holder will be part of a high performing team that is expected to demonstrate behaviours that promote the outpatient pharmacy and Royal Free London values. This means that in undertaking this role the post holder is expected at all times to behave in a way that demonstrates commitment to the delivery of respectful and compassionate care as described below.
The post holder will be mainly based at the Royal Free Hospital which is a busy and dynamic tertiary care centre.
We are looking for applicants for both band 4 and 5 Pharmacy Technician roles.
