The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for two full-time Trust Doctor ST3 posts in Anaesthetics, set to commence in March 2025 for a one-year fixed term, which includes an initial period of six months. Candidates must have at least two years of post-graduate anaesthetic experience, with a minimum of twelve months specifically in the UK, and hold the Primary FRCA or an equivalent qualification. These positions are not recognized as training posts and do not grant a National Training Number, requiring full GMC registration with a license to practice. Additionally, the roles include a 1 in 8 on-call commitment and opportunities to gain diverse anaesthetic experience in various specialties.

The successful candidates will be provided with a mentor and can access 15 days of study leave annually. The posts allow for involvement in audit and quality improvement projects within a supportive department. Hull University Teaching Hospitals, part of the Humber Health Partnership, collaborates closely with Hull York Medical School and focuses on delivering world-class services to a population of 1.65 million, managing a significant budget and employing around 20,000 staff across its main sites.
