The Clinical Psychologist position at Goleudy, within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, focuses on providing trauma-informed care to young people facing high levels of distress along with their families and support systems. The service, which aims to be a beacon of hope, emphasises understanding the experiences of young people rather than labeling them by their issues. The multidisciplinary team includes Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and personnel from education and children's services, fostering collaboration with local authority services.

Candidates will work directly with young people and their families to address the impacts of developmental trauma, and they will have opportunities to contribute to training, supervision, and service development. The role promotes the integration of psychological care across various settings and encourages teamwork within the Goleudy and Enfys teams. This is a fixed-term/secondment position until March 31, 2027, and candidates who are Welsh speakers are particularly encouraged to apply.
