Aneurin Bevan University Health Board invites applications for a Junior Decontamination Technician within our vital Hospital Sterilisation Disinfection Unit at the Grange University Hospital. This part-time position (15 hours per week) offers flexibility, working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with shifts starting as early as 6am. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a of Junior Decontamination Technician within the Hospital Sterilisation Disinfection Unit at the Grange University Hospital.
The Junior Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The hours are 15 per week, to be worked Tuesdays and Wednesdays 06:00 - 14:00 or 08:00 - 16:00 pending on the needs of the Service.

The primary function of the role is the reprocessing of reusable medical devices and endoscopes in in accordance with the departments Quality Management System and accreditation to ISO 13485:2.
We are therefore looking to recruit dynamic and motivated people who are able to work within a team and are eager to learn new skills and build on existing transferable skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Good communication in spoken and written English
- Qualification in Maths/Science
- Qualification in English or equivalent
