NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Relief Medical Secretary for the General Surgery department in Glasgow. The role involves providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a Consultant and their team, aiding in patient pathways and managing service inquiries. Key responsibilities include prioritizing and scheduling workloads, ensuring compliance with NHS targets, and maintaining confidentiality while exercising diplomacy. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of departmental policies, and the ability to work independently.

The position is primarily Monday to Friday, with a total of 37 hours per week, open to job sharing at 18.5 hours.
