In Ealing we are committed to expanding our in-house fostering provision to support children to remain living locally in order that they can maintain connections with their family and community. We need foster carers that can listen and empathise and provide a stable and loving home for the children they foster.
It is an exciting time in the service and there have been a range of recent service developments including our partnership with Foster West London West London which is the new regional fostering recruitment hub. Combining eight Local Authorities from across West London to support you as you begin your journey into becoming a foster carer. By working together, our vision is to have more children we care for living in west London with high quality, supported foster carers, delivering improved long-term outcomes for children.
In Ealing we have also recently revised our offer to foster carers, we now offer highly competitive fees and allowances and a suite of additional benefits to ensure that our foster carers feel valued and receive the right support to enable them to successfully support our children and young people.
