The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Specialist Practitioner Psychologist for the Psycho-oncology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This role involves providing psychological support to cancer patients, their families, and staff, alongside delivering training and consultation within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) environment. The successful candidate will work autonomously while adhering to professional guidelines, undertake psychological assessments, manage risk, and contribute to service evaluation and research initiatives, all aimed at fostering a psychologically safe and culturally competent healthcare environment.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes supervising assistant psychologists and providing training to other healthcare professionals. The position calls for collaboration with community services to ensure seamless patient care and engagement with diverse local communities. The post holder is expected to uphold high standards of record-keeping, participate in service development, and contribute to the Trust’s commitment to inclusivity and equality.
