NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a motivated Health Care Support Worker for the Ailsa ward at Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow. The ward provides care for adults with treatment-resistant mental health conditions, requiring staff to engage in a collaborative, patient-centered approach that emphasises recovery and empowerment. Responsibilities include contributing to patient care plans, working autonomously, and partnering with a multi-disciplinary team that includes nurses, psychiatrists, and therapists.

Candidates should have a genuine interest in general adult psychiatry and previous experience in health and social care, particularly with mental health conditions, is preferred but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. The position is full-time, with consideration for part-time hours, and involves various shifts including weekends and nights.
