NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the role of Community Staff Nurse within the District Nursing Service in the Kirkcaldy locality. Ideal candidates will have a strong enthusiasm for community nursing, excellent communication skills, and the clinical expertise necessary for both teamwork and independent work. The position involves providing 24-hour care, including weekend and holiday shifts, and may require flexibility in working hours and travel across the locality.

Applicants should be prepared for a commitment to patient care, with a requirement to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment. As part of NHS Scotland's transition to a reduced full-time working week of 37 hours starting April 2024, candidates may initially work an additional 30 minutes per week until local service adjustments are made.
