The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a compassionate and organized Healthcare Assistant to join the ultrasound team at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role involves providing patient-centered care alongside sonographers and consultant radiologists in various ultrasound examinations, including interventional and intimate procedures. Key responsibilities include assisting staff with patient movement, acting as a chaperone, maintaining records, using trust information systems, ensuring equipment safety, and adhering to health and safety policies.
The position requires flexibility in working hours, as the department operates seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm, including bank holidays.
