The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Manager for a 9-month fixed-term position within the Medical Care Group, overseeing Acute and Emergency Care services at both York and Scarborough Hospitals. The role involves leading diverse services, including the Emergency Department and Acute Medicine, while ensuring the delivery of quality care and performance objectives. The General Manager will collaborate closely with clinical and managerial colleagues, lead initiatives for improvement, and support the Associate Chief Operating Officer, particularly in areas such as major trauma and unplanned care.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Senior Operational Leadership within Urgent and Emergency Care Services, demonstrating credibility with clinical teams.
