An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant/Deputy Hospital Manager in York, offering a salary of up to £35,000 per annum for a full-time, permanent position (35 hours per week). The role involves leading a healthcare team, managing staff performance, overseeing resources and budgets, planning staff rotas, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
  • Manage resources and budgets in coordination with the Service/Area Manager.
  • Create and manage staff rotas to meet service goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and engage with local authorities and families.


Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Degree level or QCF Level 5 in Health/Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in managing staff and resources within healthcare/social care settings.
  • Proven leadership skills and knowledge of CQC compliance.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
