We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic well motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our friendly, progressive pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Support Worker working within our Stores and Distribution areas to grow and drive our Medicines Optimisation Services. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to start a career in Pharmacy or would like to develop their skills and knowledge further within Pharmacy. Duties Of This Role Include working within the Pharmacy stores receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries against paperwork. Returning incorrect goods to pharmacy suppliers Storing all drugs correctly and in line with stock rotation Issuing and distributing drugs to the dispensary, wards and departments Maintaining correct stock levels in the department and on the wards Take part in rotational stock and expiry date checks Take part in ward stock topping up service Process drugs returned from wards Undertake, under direction, dispensing duties To contribute to the weekend, late night and bank holiday rota.
