We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic well motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our friendly, progressive pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Support Worker working within our Stores and Distribution areas to grow and drive our Medicines Optimisation Services. We Offer Colleagues
Duties Of This Role Include
- working within the Pharmacy stores receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries against paperwork.
- Returning incorrect goods to pharmacy suppliers
- Storing all drugs correctly and in line with stock rotation
- Issuing and distributing drugs to the dispensary, wards and departments
- Maintaining correct stock levels in the department and on the wards
- Take part in rotational stock and expiry date checks
- Take part in ward stock topping up service
- Process drugs returned from wards
- Undertake, under direction, dispensing duties
- To contribute to the weekend, late night and bank holiday rota.
