Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants in Stockport, Greater Manchester, to provide one-on-one support to a gentleman in Runcorn who requires assistance throughout the day and night. The role involves delivering high-quality personal and clinical care, facilitating the service user's hobbies and interests, and promoting independence in a comfortable home environment. Candidates should have at least three months of prior care experience, be Covid vaccinated, and possess strong communication skills. Experience with specific clinical needs is desirable but not mandatory.

Meet our service user
Our service user is a gentleman who lives in Runcorn and requires a care team to support him throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.
He is very upbeat and loves chatting away and having banter with his family and care team. He is a big football fan and supports Everton football club, he loves watching them on TV and when possible, visiting the stadium to watch them play.
At home, he enjoys watching his favourite detective and murder mystery TV programmes as well as listening and singing along to his favourite songs on YouTube.
Throughout the day you will be required to provide support with his personal care, moving and handling requirements, attending to his clinical care needs, and supporting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests.
It is essential you have received your Covid vaccinations for this position
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in following areas:
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£123.50 approx. per 9.5-hour shift)
Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£195 approx. per 13-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £17.00 per hour (£221 approx. per 13-hour shift)
