The Health and Social Care Apprenticeship with Paragon Skills in Farnham involves supporting service users with their daily living needs while promoting their independence and well-being in accordance with the Care Standards Act (2000). Apprentices will work on a rota basis, including weekends and public holidays, assisting residents with personal care, meal preparation, and general household maintenance. Key responsibilities include monitoring residents’ conditions, conducting risk assessments, and facilitating social engagement and activities.

In addition to on-the-job training, apprentices will benefit from a structured learning environment with assigned personal tutors for academic support. The apprenticeship lasts 12 months, culminating in a Level 2 qualification as an Adult Care Worker, and offers potential for full-time employment upon successful completion. Skills such as communication, attention to detail, and organisation are essential for this role.
