MerseyCare Julie Ann Limited is seeking passionate and reliable individuals to fill the role of Care Assistant in Liverpool. This position involves providing support and care to vulnerable adults in their homes across various areas, including Allerton, Mossley Hill, and Kensington. Duties include assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and offering companionship. The ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a genuine desire to help others.

This job offers full-time and part-time positions with shifts available between 7am and 11pm, including weekends. Applicants must undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. Job Opportunity

Duties And Responsibilities

As the contracted provider for Liverpool City Council, we are looking for:

Reliable, hard-working people with a genuine desire to care.
Providing care and support to vulnerable adults within their own homes
Travel around visiting our service users to assist with daily tasks, from light domestic duties to full personal care.
Visiting a number of regular service users within the area
Assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, laundry, light domestic duties, bathing, dressing and continence requirements.
You will also provide much needed companionship to people within our community.
You will need a good sense of humour and a great deal of common sense. The successful applicant will demonstrate their communication skills and ability to work in partnership with the service users.

Please note this role is also known as Carer, Care Assistant, Care Worker and Domiciliary Care Assistant

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Hours of work: Full and part time shifts between 7am - 2pm(Morning & Lunch) 3pm - 11pm(Tea's & Beds) and weekend working.
