NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Health Care Support Worker for its Emergency Care Complex in Glasgow, primarily focused on providing care in a nurse-led Minor Injuries Unit (MIU). The successful candidate will join a team of Emergency Nurse Practitioners, delivering high-quality emergency care to patients aged five and over with minor injuries. The role requires the ability to perform technical aspects of patient care, such as ECG recording, venepuncture, and cannulation, although training will be provided for those not yet skilled in these areas.

The position involves working 12.5-hour shifts from 9 am to 9:30 pm, across a seven-day week, catering to a significant patient volume of over 20,000 annually. Previous experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute setting is preferred.
