The role of Catering Supervisor in Facilities at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde involves overseeing the provision of patient care and retail services at Gartnavel Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing catering services within the Facilities Directorate, which also encompasses various support services such as domestic cleaning and portering. The position requires a combination of supervisory experience, knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and infection control practices, with prior experience in facilities services, specifically in catering.

The working hours consist of a Monday to Friday shift pattern, including two weekends of work followed by one weekend off in a three-week cycle. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications, including an HNC or equivalent, and will receive training for specific knowledge areas and skills, such as intermediate food hygiene and health and safety protocols. Effective communication skills, adaptability, and basic IT proficiency are also important traits for this role.
