Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit talented people as part of our health care workforce as Health Care Assistants on Ward B6, currently a newly-established Medical ward. we are looking to develop our growing team,to ensure we offer excellent care levels and nursing skills

Ward B6 is looking for people who have an attitude based on strong nursing values and an overall commitment to provide patients and their families with care that is first and foremost based on a culture of compassion, professionalism and respect.

As a trust we provide excellent training and development opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment.

There are opportunities all permanent both full-time and part-time hours.

As a health care worker you will be expected to work within our dedicated multi-disciplinary teams and be fully involved in an individual’s care from admission to discharge, assisting with patient hygiene and dressing, feeding, maintaining dignity and respect, keeping the environment clean and tidy and keeping good documentation.

In addition our health care workers are expected to support the registered staff nurses in meeting the required targets both at local and national level.

The post holder is required to undertake training to enable them to carry out a wide range of tasks in support of clinical professionals, including activities directly related to patient care.
