The role of Psychological Therapist - Perinatal Services at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust involves providing evidence-based psychological treatments to women and families experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues during the perinatal period, which spans from positive pregnancy tests to two years postpartum. The therapist will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver psychological assessments and interventions, while also offering support and supervision to less experienced colleagues. This position aims to enhance the psychological workforce in South Staffordshire's Perinatal and Maternal Mental Health Service, aligning with the NHS Long Term Plan and promoting professional development opportunities.

Candidates should possess a core mental health qualification and accreditation in psychological therapies, particularly CBT and/or EMDR. Essential experience includes working as a qualified therapist, handling a diverse range of client issues, and maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
