The Adult Safeguarding Administrator at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust will play a crucial role in supporting the Safeguarding Adults Team at the Southport Hospital site. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative services, including processing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) applications, taking minutes at meetings, and managing data collection. The position requires excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including external organisations and internal staff, while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and flexibility.

In addition to administrative responsibilities, the role includes maintaining accurate databases, preparing correspondence, and contributing data for audits and reports related to safeguarding. The administrator will support the delivery of efficient services while prioritizing patient safety and may be required to provide cross-cover support for other administrative personnel in safeguarding.
