The role of a Care Assistant involves providing support to a 15-year-old boy with learning difficulties and cerebral palsy in Wetherby, Leeds. The position offers a pay rate of £14 per hour for up to 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling mainly on weekends during term time and daytime hours in the summer. Responsibilities include assisting with physical support, meal preparation, personal care, and facilitating social and leisure activities, such as swimming and bowling, while helping him maintain independence.
