Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant for its dispensary team in Palterton. The ideal candidate will have an interest in pharmacy, possess excellent communication skills, and ideally hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or be willing to pursue this qualification with provided in-house training. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications for inpatients and outpatients, selling over-the-counter medicines, performing reception duties in the dispensaries, as well as delivering medications to clinical areas and general administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone with an interest in Pharmacy who has an eye for detail, is hardworking, ambitious, is able to problem solve and has excellent communication skills.
You will ideally have an NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be willing to work towards this, with in-house training provided.
We are a small team who work over 3 dispensaries within the Hospital. You will be given full training in each of the dispensaries and complete work-based competencies under the guidance of a qualified member of staff.
