- Are you an experienced doctor with hands-on NHS experience in General Medicine?*
BCHC is looking for dedicated *Trust Grade Doctors (FY2-ST2 equivalent)* to join our team, providing care for older adults and specialist rehabilitation patients.

- Who Should Apply?*
(Y) *Minimum 1 year of hands-on, paid experience in the NHS* as a qualified doctor in an acute trust.
(Y) *Relevant medical specialties accepted:* Geriatrics, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Acute Medicine, or 12 months in NHS A&E.
(Y) *Doctors with FY2+ NHS experience who have moved into private locum roles* are eligible.
(Y) *Medical Support Workers (MSWs) will be considered*, but *only if they have General Medicine experience*.
The Following Experience Does NOT Meet Our Criteria
(X) Observerships, clinical attachments, or unpaid shadowing.
(X) Locum work *only in private hospitals* (especially for IMGs without NHS experience).
(X) Experience limited to non-medical specialties (e.g., Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Public Health, or standalone rehab facilities).
*Your Role*
- Provide high-quality clinical care under consultant supervision.
- Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Deliver out-of-hours emergency care as part of a structured shift system.
- Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement, and training opportunities.
Full GMC registration (essential).
MRCP UK or equivalent (desirable).
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Commitment to teamwork and ongoing professional development.
