Our Full Time Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing is an eighteen month apprenticeship.
Job SummaryWe are recruiting motivated, caring and compassionate individuals for the role of Apprentice Dental Nurse.
This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is based supporting our 4 Outreach Clinics in Beeston, Chapel Allerton, Bradford and Hull and in various departments of the Dental Institute on a rota basis.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a minimum of 4 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent with English Language, Maths being essential and a Science subject being desirable.
On successful completion of work based practical assessments and coursework you will receive a Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing.
Successful applicants will work as team members within the Dental Team. They will assist Dentists in the management and treatment of patients in the Dental Surgery in their allocated department giving direct hands-on care to patients, and will attend timetabled study sessions.

Leeds Dental Institute provide routine dental treatments as part of dental undergraduate training. It also runs three outreach teaching centres in South Leeds, Bradford and Hull to provide dental care in the community and as part of the learning experience.
During your apprenticeship you will be employed by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) which offers you a wide range of benefits.
