Indus Paper Boards Pvt Ltd is seeking to hire two Personal Care Assistants to support a young woman with learning disabilities in York (YO32), offering part-time positions of either 13 or 23.5 hours per week at a rate of £14.30 per hour. The roles will include working Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday from 9:30am to 2:30pm, with flexibility for additional hours on a fortnightly basis. The successful candidates will assist with personal care, mobility support, and social activities, ensuring the well-being of the client as she participates in her active lifestyle.
Applicants must be female due to the nature of care required and should be reliable and friendly team players. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. Physical capability to push a wheelchair and carry out moving and handling tasks is essential. Additionally, a full UK driving license is required to drive a motability-equipped vehicle given the semi-rural location. Responsibilities will include meal preparation, administering medication, and engaging in social and leisure activities to enhance the client's quality of life.

We are looking to expand our team of carers and are looking to recruit 2 carers for the following hours.
Saturday 8am to 4pm
Sunday 9.30am to 2.30pm.
There is also the option for fortnightly Rota for a Tuesday/Wednesday/ Thursday 7.30am to 6pm. Day to be agreed.
There is also the option of extra hours to cover holiday/sickness if required.
Contracted hours of 13 /23.5 hours @£14.30ph

Responsibilities include personal care, moving and handling, support with eating and drinking and accessing her local community, days out etc. Individuals must be physically able and willing to push a wheelchair and support in moving and handling procedures.
Our daughter is a happy young lady who likes to be out and about enjoying walks around the park, gardens and days out to various places and spending time with our animals.
She will need full support with personal care moving and handling, peg feeds eating and drinking.
Experience is not essential as all training will be provided.
Due to semi-rural location a car driver is advisable.
