The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join their Vascular Imaging Department as an Imaging Support Worker. The primary responsibilities of this role include transporting patients between the Vascular Imaging Unit and various wards or departments, as well as transporting specimens and medical equipment. Additional duties may involve cleaning, managing refuse, restocking medical supplies, and overseeing oxygen resources. With appropriate training, the role also allows for opportunities to perform patient observations and cannula removal.

The Vascular Imaging Department at York Hospital is looking for an outgoing individual to join our friendly multidisciplinary team as an Imaging Support Worker. This role is primarily a patient transportation position but with the opportunity to add skills such as patient observations and cannula removal following appropriate training.
You must have good people and communication skills.
Transportation of patients between VIU and wards/departments.
Transportation of specimens and equipment.
Cleaning / refuse management.
Restocking of medical equipment.
Management of oxygen supplies.
Patient care and cannula removal following appropriate training.
